Otoscope Tips

Otoscope specula are interchangeable attachments used with an otoscope to examine the ear canal and tympanic membrane (eardrum). They are available in various sizes and are commonly supplied as disposable single-use components to support hygiene and infection control.

Common sizes include:

2 mm and 2.5 mm – Typically used for pediatric patients
3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm – Commonly used for adults

Common applications include:

Examination of the tympanic membrane (eardrum)
Assessment of ear infections and inflammatory conditions
Visualization of earwax accumulation
